As many of you who’ve been watching our YouTube channel for any length of time know, Paula is an Ohio gal, born and raised around Cleveland, and a graduate of the University of Akron (Go Zips!). She’s the oldest of eight children, the mother of one, our son Scott, and a very happy grandma to Mykie.
Paula’s career in Information Technology has taken her from the manufacturing world - automotive paints and undercoatings - to hospitality (on the Las Vegas Strip), to utilities. Some of the happiest memories were working at Luxor, and traveling up the Strip after work to catch Dale’s last set, when he was performing in the lounges.
Although she officially retired in 2023, she still works part-time on a consulting basis, as well as dedicating lots of time to the YouTube channel. When she has any spare time (what’s that, she asks), she loves to read, garden, and travel - especially if our granddaughter is the destination!

Fun Fact: Paula's college degree was actually in Foods & Nutrition! So, what better way to put her talents to use than to start a cooking channel? That's exactly what we did, in spring 2020. And then, 3 years later, we decided to feature her on a channel of her own.
There are more than 50 Paula's Kitchens out there on YouTube, and we've made it easier for you to find your next kitchen creation by putting them all into one playlist! Family favorites, holiday classics, dishes from famous Vegas chefs, and recipes out of cookbooks gifted to us by YOU...it's all here:
Pair pumpkin and cream cheese, roll them up together in a spiral (Who ever thought of this idea? Genius!)...and you have a magic flavor combination! It's a gorgeous presentation, but not as hard as it looks. :)
This one is from 5 years ago - December 2020, and our original kitchen near North Las Vegas. Paula tackles 3 different treats, pretty much simultaneously: Christmas Ribbon Salad (with colorful Jell-O stripes), Dove of Peace cupcakes, and Big Soft Ginger Cookies. Three winners!
Back when my life was a little less busy (when was that??), I was a dedicated stitcher - a cross-stitcher. Counted cross stitch was my passion, back in the 1990s and early 2000s, and during those years I completed many beautiful projects. I was cleaning out some old stuff recently, and found these items again. They deserve to be seen, so I'll show them to you! ~Paula
